1. What items could I donate?

We want donations of anything which is hand-made and good quality : small, simple, large or complicated.

We are keen to have and sell gift items – accessories, decorative pieces – as well as useful items – things for use out or around the house. And of course, many hand-made arts and crafts are both useful and beautiful.

Items you could donate:

* jewellery * watercolour paintings / cards * clothing * bags * slippers *

cushion covers * drawings * beads * handmade cards

* etchings * softies * cross-stitch * dish-cloths * patchwork * toys *

silkscreens and other art prints * baby items * ornaments * blankets

* photographic prints * T-shirts * accessories * hats * T-cosies*

* what else can you think of?*

You might be able to donate materials for artists and crafters to use - yarn, paper, inks, fabrics, buttons - or patterns.

Anything else/similar/different? So long as its hand-made or can be used for hand-made art or crafts,  please think about sending it to made4aid.

We’re sure you can think of lots of other possibilities.

We are also keen to accept and sell vintage or antique arts and crafts  – so, remember us if you find something fabulous and hand-made at a car-boot or yard or garage sale, or in charity or thrift shops.  And think about sending us any art or craft pieces you have but no longer want or need or have room for.

It is important that all items we have to sell are of good quality, well made and durable.

It is not important that every item is a totally unique and artistically-creative masterpiece. We hope we will receive some items like that! But more everyday and ordinary handmade art and crafts are also just as important and wanted.
